Multiventuri Scrubbers

Exhaust air from primary department is more and more a source which has to be treated before being ventilated into the atmosphere - even in industrial zones or in less densely populated areas. Moist and hot air carry a lot of odorous components and particles still noticed in long distances from the point of emission.

The standardized design offers high flexibility and mobility in case of plant extension or site movement.

Especially for this problem Tholander Environmental Engineering have developed a compact solution based on a technology which has worked successfully in similar applications for many years: A combination of the dust removing Multi Venturi Scrubber with a packed bed Cross Flow Scrubber for gas absorption built in one scrubber housing designed to be placed in a 40' containment.

The air pollution control plant, assembled in advance, can be installed within short time with a minimum of space demand and foundation requirements.

Ammonia emissions from the burley line will be reduced by more than 99%.

In combination with a cooling tower this system is able to treat also hot exhaust from dryers, HXD etc. with high efficiency.

All auxiliaries like control panel, frequency controlled exhaust fan, water softener, chemical storage and dosage etc. will also be placed within the containment.

Essentials
Horizontal air flow
Separation of humid dust loads
